8. How can I fund my wallet?

PAYPOINT VTU supports several funding methods: 

Direct Bank Funding (Verified Users)

Verified users can generate unique account details after completing their KYC verification.

(a). Steps to Generate Your Dedicated Funding Account:

  1. Click the "+" (Plus) button, down-middle on your dashboard.
  2. Select "Generate Account Details".
  3. Enter your 11-digit NIN.
  4. Complete the KYC update process.
  5. Wait for the confirmation message: "Bank Account Generated Successfully."

Once generated, you can transfer funds directly to your wallet using the account details assigned to you on your dashboard.

(b). How Long Does Funding Take?

Most deposits are credited automatically within 30 seconds or less.

(c). What Should I Do If My Deposit Is Delayed?

Any deposit delayed beyond 10 minutes should be treated as a funding issue.

You may resolve the issue through any of the following channels:

  • Click the "Payment Issue" button on the menu bar.
  • Report the issue through the Contact Form.
  • Submit the complaint in your official WhatsApp support group.

(d). Important Requirement for Manual Resolution

When reporting a delayed funding issue through the Contact Form, WhatsApp group, or Admin Support, you must provide the complete payment receipt containing:

  1. Transaction Amount
  2. Date and Time of Transaction
  3. Session ID or Transaction Reference Number

Providing complete transaction details will help the support team investigate and resolve your issue more quickly.

Card Funding

Fund your wallet using debit or credit cards through Flutterwave.

Smartpay

Available to both verified and unverified users using:

  • Opay
  • Moniepoint
  • Kuda
  • Palmpay
  • Commercial Banks (GTB, Zenith, Ecobank, First Bank, Access Bank, UBA, ETC.)

Simply transfer money to the company's account on the smartpay dashboard and claim your deposit through the SmartPay dashboard using the payment details from your bank receipt (Sender's Account Number, Amount sent and Payment Bank). 

Wallet-to-Wallet Transfer (W2W)

Transfer funds from one PAYPOINT wallet to another using the registered email address.

Admin Funding

Transfer funds to the designated company account and contact the admin to claim your deposit.

Charges differ based on the amount being funded. There is 1% funding fees for amounts between N1 to N999 and N50 flat rate for amounts from N1000 and above.

Instead of funding exactly ₦1,000, send ₦999.

This reduces the transaction fee from ₦50 to ₦9.90.


12. What should I do if my wallet funding is delayed?

Funding delays may occur because of settlement issues between payment gateways and the platform.

You can:

  • Use the "Payment Issues" option on the menu bar.
  • Contact Customer Service for assistance.

AIRTIME & DATA PURCHASES

13. Can I resell airtime and data?

Yes. Many PAYPOINT VTU users operate profitable airtime and data businesses using the platform. You earn at least 2% discount on all airtime purchases or sales and decide your profit accordingly for each data bundle sales. 


14. How do I check if data was delivered?

15. What if the exact data plan I need is not listed?

You can combine available plans.

TRANSACTION ISSUES

16. What should I do if a transaction is pending?

  1. Open the transaction receipt.
  2. Locate the Refresh option.
  3. The Refresh button can be found under the three dots menu at the top-right corner of the receipt.
  4. Click Refresh to update the transaction status.
  5. Wait up to 10 minutes.

If the transaction remains pending after 10 minutes, contact Customer Service.


17. What happens when a transaction fails?

Failed transactions are usually refunded automatically to your wallet.

If the refund is not received within 10 minutes:

  1. Open the transaction receipt.
  2. Click Refresh from the top-right corner (three dots menu).
  3. Contact Customer Service if the issue persists.

18. What should I do if a transaction remains pending beyond 10minutes?

All pending transactions will be settled, subject to network availability:

  • Delivered successfully, or
  • Refunded to your wallet.

To check the latest status:

  1. Open the transaction receipt.
  2. Click Refresh from the top-right corner (three dots menu).

If the delay exceeds 10 minutes, contact Customer Service.


19. A transaction was processed but the customer was not credited. What should I do?

  1. Open the transaction receipt.
  2. Click Refresh from the three dots menu at the top-right corner.
  3. The system will re-query the transaction at no extra cost.
  4. Confirm delivery with the customer.

If the issue persists after 10 minutes, contact Customer Service.


20. How do I contact Customer Service?

Use the WhatsApp chat button located at the bottom-right corner of the app or website.


AGENT PORTAL

21. What is the Agent Portal?

The Agent Portal is a commission-based earning program available to both Basic Users and Resellers.

It enables you to earn commissions whenever users enrolled under your Agent Portal purchase or sell data bundles on the platform.


22. Who can use the Agent Portal?

The Agent Portal is available to:

  • Basic Users
  • Resellers/Subscribers

No affiliate package is required.


23. How do I earn through the Agent Portal?

You earn commissions whenever users enrolled under your Agent Portal perform eligible data transactions on the platform.

The more active users you enroll, the greater your earning potential.


24. How do I enroll a user on my Agent Portal?

Follow these steps:

  1. Register a new user or reseller.
  2. Click Our Services on the menu.
  3. Select Agent Portal.
  4. Enter the user's registered email address.
  5. Click Enroll User.

The user will immediately become part of your Agent Portal network.


25. Can I enroll multiple users under my Agent Portal?

Yes. You may enroll as many users as you wish to increase your earning opportunities.


26. What is the difference between the Agent Portal and Affiliate Program?

Agent Portal

We recommend charging at least ₦100 for every ₦1,000 transaction.

However, you are free to adopt your own pricing strategy.

Yes. Resellers, agents, and affiliates can determine their profit margins according to their business goals.

  5. Purchase enough data to cover at least 30 days of usage.
